How do I know that spring is here? Well, in front of my office, Dale, our Facility Manager is on a lawnmower! We have a new lawnmower that has lots of bells and whistles and seems to be doing a great job (with my limited lawn mower experience).
This weekend is our spring workday and we need lots of hands to make sure things are ready for summer camp on the property.
We have docks to put in, boats to put in, windows to wash, litter to pick up, bark chips to be spread...and much more going on. Please join us if you are able to do so.
Summer camp preparations are keeping me busy and slightly crazed. I've noticed that my eyes are really getting tired faster from all of my reading and editing. I think I may need to visit the eye doctor and see if I need reading glasses. Sigh. Just what I need - another thing to lose :)
Still working on a few staffing positions. I have to admit I am stumped on our summer secretary. I am looking for someone 18 and older, who is organized and has some great people skills to work Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Primary duties involve lots of paperwork. answering phones and all sorts of miscellaneous projects. Know someone - let me know! It is an hourly position and I'll feed them lunch too - in the dining hall!
Finally I want to promote our trading post on the website. Jamie has been busy ordering new things for our camp store and they are up on our website for viewing! So get your Lions Camp gear while it's still here.....
