Well - it's finally happened. Those darn woodpeckers have taken out our totem pole. It was taken down and cut into pieces for display around Camp this week. The fabulous Lac Du Flambeau Club is working on a replacement - it might be a few months but it's coming! So for a while - the view of the lake is going to be a strange one.
We continue to work on finishing off our summer staff and get those last camper spots filled. Staff training is getting worked out, our rental groups will be coming in full force starting next week and the sun is shining! Finally! There was a few flakes of snow yesterday - we shall just forget about that and move on.
Boats and docks are in the water and camp looks great after a successful workday! Thank you to all the folks who came and helped. We really appreciated all of your hard work and it really makes summer camp preparation much easier for us. Thank you again!
